Some lightning photos that I took in early 2000 at Cowell.  The lightning was so bright it was unbelievable.  The exposures below were for no greater than 20 seconds.  All the lightning in the respective pictures occurred at the same time and turned night into day.

Below is a picture of some wintry cumulonimbus approaching from the south west.
